Last Dance

By Aasara Bade Shrestha

One step at a time
Danced in the beautiful dress of mine
Finally happy after such long years
Where all that belonged to me were my tears

I danced and danced till the moon went down
Took the breath away of everyone in town
Finally happy after years of torture
So happy that tears brought upon moisture

I was finally free and left alone
Finally able to dance on my own tone
All was possible since the day we met
You were what I wanted and needed, DEATH
