The Unbounded Love

My life was bounded within the four walls of my room. I could see my friends shouting and playing in the playground from my window, but no one would give me company. The nightingale used to sit on my window pane and sing a song for me to keep me from feeling bored. The only thing I had to look forward to was the doctor, who would visit me every fortnight to check on me. I had cancer.

My dad left us when I was only three. My mom used to take care of me. One day, I overheard the doctor telling my mom that I had only six months left to live. My mom burst out into tears. She didn't talk to me about it and I pretended as if I didn't hear anything. I wanted to go out of the house for once and she gave me the permission. I passed by many stores and entered a book store. My eyes fell onto a boy. I went straight up to him without looking anywhere else. He looked at me and asked, "Can I help you?" with the best smile I had ever seen. I was lost in his eyes. I wasn't there to buy any book. So, I pointed to a random book and said, "Give me that one." He went back and packed the book. I went home and kept it in my wardrobe without opening it. From then on I went to the store everyday and bought a book. I started to like him but I could not say it to him. I also didn't want him to fall in love with me because I dying. After a few months my mom found about it and told me to ask him how he felt about me. So, I gathered all my courage and left home with a piece of paper with me. I wrote all my feelings on it and my phone number. I went to the store and asked for a book. He smiled and went back to wrap the book. I left the piece of paper on the table and left the store. That evening, the phone rang; it was that boy. He asked for me and my mom asked him to come home. I was in my bed and my mom was cleaning the room. Her eyes fell on the piles of book that I had kept in the wardrobe. She opened the packet and found a note in it which said " Hi!.... I think you are really cute. Do you want to go out with me?"  As my mom read the note, my eyes started to tear up. I deeply regretted not opening the book earlier. The doorbell rang, and it was him. He came to my room and stood in front of me. He asked, "What happened to you?" He genuinely looked worried. Then, suddenly I started feeling uncomfortable. My chest started to ache and my mouth started bleeding. I was taking my last breathe and he was in front of me. He hugged me tight and kissed me on my forehead.

It was too late before they realized their love for each other. So, express your love to your loved ones before it is too late.
