More than 4,400 courses are offered and the university has 85 integral colleges and more than 600 affiliated colleges throughout the country. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology (B.Sc.CSIT) is a four year course program of TU designed to provide students all sort of knowledge in the field of Computer Science and Information Technology. There are many private and government colleges running this program. While talking about Tribhuvan University, there is a stereotype on our minds that most of activities that it conducts will not be on time. But while analyzing the recent activities of TU on B.Sc.CSIT program, it has been different than usual. Recently TU has published the notice about board examinations scheduled of B.Sc.CSIT first semester and examination forms fill up notice for third, fifth, seventh and eighth  semester. As per notice, board examination of first semester is going to start from 31st March, 2015. Looking at the past details, board examination was likely to be conducted around late April. The scenario is similar for the form fill up for fifth semester.  It is the time that they have started their fifth semester course only few weeks ago and examination form fill up notice has already been published. So, it is expected that their board examination will also be sooner than it has been in the past. The examination notice has put pressure on first semester students as well as other colleges. Colleges are in rush to complete the courses on time and students are under pressure that they have to manage to learn many things in a short time. This might be the bad aspect but it is good that the entire course will be completed in four years time as mentioned should this trend continue. About this action of TU, Prayush Shrestha, first semester B.Sc.CSIT student of DWIT, said, “Tribhuvan University has suddenly put a huge pressure on us, first semester B.Sc.CSIT students, by nearing our board examination date by a month. Well, I consider this as a positive change as students can complete the course faster than previous time but TU should have given pre-notice so that students can set up their minds for the examination.” Amun Kharel, another student of same level at DWIT said, “The pre-information on the routine would have been nice for both college and students. But if this thing is consistent and TU can keep up, it is good and our course will be fast. ” Sameer Koirala, a fifth semester student of DWIT said, "I have heard that it always takes TU five years to complete 4 years course. Its good to see they are trying to prove the statement wrong. Well early opening of TU exam forms means early exam and early pass out so, if you really think about it, its not that bad." Hoping that the students and colleges can manage it very well.
