On Missing You

By Arjun Dahal

Happy Saturday! My love, For I have nothing else to wish you.   Darkness, bewildered Inside of me, Hopes, at it's discrepancy, And my pen hurling towards you. I sit quiet, With a hurricane inside my brain, Shall I hail it as my state of Cloud Nine?   When you were here with me, Couldn't look you in your eyes. And now- Your name echoes my ears, Your voice thrives my heart tachycardiac, Your smile blazes my weak eyes. Probably telepathic, Probably sober, Probably schizophreniac, I have no answer.   I miss you! Can you hear that? I miss you! Can you feel that? I've been missing you for all these years. Can you listen to that? Lonely, wasted, and ruined, But, I'm still missing you badly. Will you listen to me, Please? Just once.
