The movie stars Eric Bana as Henry DeTamble, a Chicago librarian with a genetic disorder that causes him to time travel randomly as he tries to build a romantic relationship with his love- Clare, played by Rachel McAdams. It is an interesting story of a time traveler, one of the best ever told through silver screen. When Henry DeTamble meets Clare Abshire in a Chicago library they both understand that he is a time traveler. She knows much more about him as she has already met him before and told him about the relationship between them, but he does not remember anything. They fall in love with each other. Henry’s unavoidable absences while time traveling and Henry returning with the knowledge of their future makes things ever more difficult for Clare. It is a romantic movie wrapped in science fiction which is a very good combination. Unlike other science fictions there is not any complex science theories and explanations going on, which is a good aspect of the movie. Another good thing about the movie is that it shows how powerful love can be. Henry and Clare have a happy family and life even with Henry’s strange condition. The movie does not go and explain how a genetic disorder can make a person time travel. This is not made clear in any part of the movie which leaves science lovers a bit disappointed. Nevertheless the movie does not disappoint those who are in search of an intense love story.
