Greetings and a warm welcome to the very first issue of DWIT weekly news. We live in an era of change and innovation. Developments in science and technology have brought the world together, but has also drifted them apart. It is really hard to stay in one place and keep up with events that are happening at another. Even within DWIT , there are students and faculty alike who are unaware of events being held at our own institution. Keeping this in mind, we the members of the DWIT News team are trying to provide quality NEWS to the readers on a weekly basis. NEWS aside, we are trying to promote students’ creativity. We are trying to create an environment where teamwork and leadership skill will flourish and eventually promote overall development of the students involved in the news team. We have created the opinion column for the students to share their views and thoughts. Guest columns are always welcome which will involve the articles from different personnel outside of the news team. This NEWS bulletin aims at giving the insights on the events happening at DWIT every week. The bulletin also covers NEWS at national and international level,  mainly related to science and technology. It also covers important developments in national politics and major current affairs. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Hitesh Karki for taking an initiative of publishing the first edition of DWIT NEWS. We would also like to show our appreciation to Mr. Daulat Jha for his support in bringing this first issue to life.  We will take this as a great opportunity to create the first college newspaper in the country and make it a beautiful piece of art that will soon lead others to follow this innovative path.
