Deerwalk Institute of Technology, DWIT, is conducting the second edition of the DWIT JOB FAIR. The event will be held on 23rd March 2018 at Deerwalk Complex, Sifal. This is a day-long event starting at 11:00 AM and closing at 5:00 PM. The event is being organized in association with Kantipur Digi Corp and Merojob.com. The event will be officially called ‘KDC presents DWIT JOB FAIR 2018 in association with MEROJOB’. This is the biggest job fair in Nepal solely focused on providing IT related jobs. The idea behind the fair is to bring together the IT Academia and IT industry in one common place providing a platform to directly interact with each other. In its first edition, DWIT JOB FAIR 2017, around 20 different software companies participated in the event with approximately 1200 participants. Both the numbers are expected to go up this year. The participants, as was the case last year, is expected to comprise of students pursuing their undergrad studies in computer science as well as graduates. On the event day, the companies will be conducting on-the-spot job interviews, placement tests and workshops to fulfill their resource needs by providing placement opportunities in the form of internships as well as both full and part-time job offers. Participants will have to register for the event by logging on to the official website of the event, jobfair.dwit.edu.np. This is a free event for all participants.
