On 30^th May, the new season of DeerExpress season started. As per the competitions regulations, there were six participants. Due to the term paper presentation of batch of 2017, only 3 participants took part in the contest. The program began at 1:20 pm. The speakers for this season were Sushant Gurung (Batch 2016), Shankar Koirala (Batch 2015) and Ujjwal Uprety (Batch 2016). Each participant was to deliver their speech for two minutes on topics that had been assigned previously. Gurung spoke on the worst day of his life, Koirala on his hobbies and Uprety spoke about the Bagmati cleaning campaign. The judges for the session were Prabina Neupane, Sunil Shrestha, Bimal Gaire, and Pratik Budhathoki. They scored the participants on the criteria they were assigned to judge, which were: grammar and pronunciation, body language, Context and time, and overall respectively. Shankar Koirala and Ujjwal Uprety jointly stood first with 15 points each out of 20. The winners were awarded with their prize. Also, Pratibh Acharya from batch 2015 was awarded as the winner of DeerExpress Season 4.
