Hiking is full of treasure; it is a journey that is unpredictable somehow.” Hiking Club organized another hiking with predestined route; Lele – Pathivara – Godawari on March 22, Sunday. There were 19 hikers along with Abhisekh Khatiwada being the hiking coordinator. Campus chief, Surendra Nath Adhikari joined as the college representative. All the hikers gathered on the college premises and they headed towards the destination (Lele) at about 7:15 am. Everyone was excited about the route and the whole atmosphere was full of jokes and laughter. By picking up Surendra Nath Adhikari (Campus Chief) on the way, the bus headed towards the destination. On the way the bus stopped at Tuteoani, Satobato for breakfast. After that, on the way to Lele, due to blockage of road by heavy truck, the bus couldn’t move further so all the hikers had to start their journey before reaching Lele Bus Park.  As it was one day hiking, it seemed impossible to reach and return from Pathivara, so after reaching Lele Buspark, Surendra Nath Adhikari conducted a stand up meeting and made everyone clear about the route and mentioned the fact about not going to Pathivara. Though climbing such hill was not as easy as we thought but the atmosphere of jokes and laughter made every one forget the pain. The mesmerizing view of hills, the way covered by the National flower ‘Rhododendron’ made each one of the hikers dazzled, everyone enjoyed photo session along with rhododendron covered everywhere. After 3 hours of walking everyone gathered for light snacks. Likewise, the most adventurous journey started afterwards. Somehow the actual route was missed and the road was all covered with pine leaves which were slippery and dangerous, not only that, the slippery steep path full of slippery leaves, the only support were some trees (most of them were thorny ones). That journey was tough and dangerous as well. Some hikers were enjoying but most of them were waiting for the way to end. After the route was rediscovered, hikers gathered on the bid ground and ate the leftovers. Due to lack of time and route missed, the campus chief decided to return back, everyone headed towards Lele, and caught up the bus. Lastly everyone dispersed after enjoying delicious meal at ‘Thakali Bhancha Ghar’, Sinamangal. Though the Destination was not reached but the day was most memorable. It was truly adventurous journey, an unforgettable one.
