Vipassana Training Organized By Social Service Club
On 9th December 2016, DWIT Social Service club organized Vipassana training in Deerwalk Complex. The main instructor of the program was Lekhnath Bhusal, one of the Solution Architects from Deerwalk Services who conducted the program smoothly. The main focus of the meditation program was concentration, which is supposed to be the first and the most important step in meditation. After the completion of the session, there was an interactive question and answer round where participants questioned many queries to the instructor.
“The event lasted for about 2 hours which is merely enough for meditating. However, this was the first step which happened to be quite successful and the club shall organize such programs to enlighten more people. By organizing such events, the students can be motivated to meditate frequently which will lead to a peaceful mind. ”, believed the organizing team. Bidish Acharya, one of the participants in the event said, “I had a trouble to concentrate as it was my first time. But, I'm not judging it yet. It seems fruitful, so I will start practicing it on my own. The technique looked promising”.
The event was considered successful with 18 eager participants. Akankshya Upadhaya is a member of DWIT Social Service Club.
