The most controversial topic that is going around everywhere in the world is about the recently conducted Miss Universe pageant that was held on Las Vegas. Something that was unexpected and embarrassing happened when a lady was crowned as the Miss Universe for a minute and later her crown was taken back saying that it was just a terrible mistake.

No one could have thought that the Miss Universe pageant held on Las Vegas would have turned out this way. A terrible mistake was made by Steve Harvey.  Miss Columbia, Ariadna Gutierrez was incorrectly announced as Miss Universe before her crown was taken away and given to Miss Philippine, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach who turned out to be the new Miss Universe of 2015. Miss Columbia was enjoying the best moment of her crowning glory in the stage before her crowned was taken away. To her credit, Ms. Colombia didn't even utter a word of resentment. Instead she took it in her stride and exuded grace, class, and dignity. She should have been the most upset with what happened, yet she chose to move on graciously. I feel sorry for Miss Philippine Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach; she too must have been offended by the announcement.

 Miss Philippine couldn't experience her moment of crowning glory but later she got what she deserved; the title of Miss Universe and all its’ glory but she was crowned backstage which she doesn't deserve at all. Both ladies showed us that grace and class are more important than beauty. And from the looks of it Steve has no grace, class or beauty. Neither of them deserves what happened. Such kind of mistake shouldn't be done in stage of Miss Universe. It was the worst mistake in TV awards show history. Such kind of mistake should be taken into consideration and shouldn't be repeated in future.
