Students Enjoy Nepal- Afghanistan Game
Students of DWIT shared the passion and support for the Nepal cricket team as about 70 students got together on 20th March to watch the nerve-wracking game against Afghanistan. The section A of Class 2016 first triggered the idea of watching it in the class and section B students joined them. The students cheered heavily for every boundary, wickets, and excellent fielding shown by the Nepali Cricket team demonstrating their excitement at the game. At first, the CRs of both the sections were suggesting the students to keep the noise level down but later, they decided to join in because the noise was uncontrollable. Chants like “Yo Jeet Kasko, Nepal ko” and “We need wickets” could be heard all over the DWIT premises. One could easily sense how well Nepal was playing by the frequent chants. The Nepal cricket team held their nerve until the last over to secure the victory. This brought more joy and excitement to the students. When asked about the experience, students claimed it was one of their best days in DWIT .
