‘The Sports Club’ is soon going to organize basketball trainings for the students of DWIT. The main purpose of the training is to provide basketball skills, technique and help everyone play basketball.
In DWIT, basketball is a popular game. Be it during the lunch break or any other leisure time, the basketball court is never empty. We can see students of all batches playing basketball with full energy. Also the presence of DWS employees makes the game special. Sometimes, students of DWIT and employees of DWS play matches against each other. So, can you think how passionate you are in basketball? Considering this fact, the sports club is starting to offer some incentives to our beloved basketball fans of DWIT.
The first ever Basketball training of DWIT is likely to happen very soon. Perhaps it will be organized after the board exam of batch 2018 gets over. It will be an open event. All students can participate. There will be certain rules and regulation which the club is yet to announce. The training will be conducted in the basketball Court of DWIT. There will be no professional trainer as it will be conducted by the some group of students who already have good skills. Perhaps, it may be a platform for selection of college basketball squad. Presently, the club is busy devising rules and regulations. Club president Sumit Shrestha says, "This is a big challenge for us. Since the entire college looks keen to play basketball, we don’t want to ruin their excitement”. He added that the club wants more students to be involved in the training as they are willing to make the college students well proficient in basketball.
The Sport club looks to provide an excellent platform for the basketball lovers. If you are interested, you don’t need to think twice. You wouldn't get such a wonderful opportunity more often in your life. I recommend all of you to go and grab the opportunity. It will be the worth learning Basketball as the famous Michael Jordan says “Basketball isn’t about the bright lights, packed arenas, and highlights reels. Basketball is the way of life. Basketball is the relationship between you and the ball, you and your teammates. If you love the game, nobody can take that from you”.
