Deriving his new formula of geometry, Basanta Shahi, 19, has been successful in bringing his new innovation to world. Shahi had presented his new formula in France on 15th June, 2014 amid huge number of scientists in the field. Not only that, he is renowned as the world’s 5th geometry scientist.

Shahi thanked all those who helped him present his idea to the world and even revealed that he is soon going for a new world record of tennis ball and sticking pencil on his hand. He asked District Administration, VDCs, local clubs and social workers to help him further on economical, physical and social level. He claimed that his new formula can be used especially by doctors and engineers.

Shahi thanked his math teacher for being supportive and also mentioned that he would not have achieved this feat without his support and encouragement. Coming from one of the underdeveloped areas of Nepal, he has not only represented Nepal internationally, but he has become a hope for everyone who are deprived of good education and basic infrastructure.

Now, he has stood up as inspiration for all Nepalese students. He has proved that age does not play in as a factor when it comes to talent. If there is will then there will always be a way.
