Photo Source: Biveksil Nepali A large group of people gathered at Maitighar Mandala to support Dr. Govinda K.C. There were supporters from Biveksil Nepali Party, and different other organizations like Nyano Sansar, KU department of medicine, groups from social media like WRR(Women’s Room Reloaded), GRR(Girls Rising Room) and so on. The program formally started at 11 am. Before starting the rally, everyone was provided with a pamphlet that contained different slogans like #iamwithdrkc, मेडिकल माफिया होसियार. The rally initiated at Maitighar and ended in front of The Everest Hotel. There were a large group of volunteers from Biveksil Nepali managing the rally. The large group of Students and doctors from the IOM (Institute of Medicine) were seen with aprons. There was innovation in protest by some wonderful Artists, Designers, and Calligraphers from Lalitkala Art students and Artists. Their whole body were painted with slogans. The program was ended after a short speech from Dr. Jeevan Chettri, a staunch supporter of Dr. KC's demands and a phone call with Dr. KC. During the phone call, Dr. KC thanked everyone for supporting his hunger strike. Furthermore, he asked all of the youths to be aware of corruption in the field of medical education and services. The protest rally will continue tomorrow by surrounding Akhtiyar-Durupayog Anusandhan Ayog.
