Positively Nonsense

By Arjun Dahal

If these raindrops could wait, I would hail them your swiftness How eternal is your breath?   If these winds could feel, I would preach them your aroma How lovely is your caress?   If these walls could listen, I would exclaim, "By your lips, every word's a robbery". How calm do you whisper?   If these lights could see, I would offer them your glimpse How mesmeringly do you glow?   If these papers could bias, I would ask to judge you and Monalisa How perfectly  your smile shines on the canvas?   If this pen could breathe, I would ask, not to mock me How positively nonsensical am I to you?
