New Nepali Constitution by Mid-August, Really?

On July 23, the constituent ended the 15-day campaign to collect suggestions from the people. After the suggestion collection phase, the discussions are still going on. The Prime Minister of Nepal, Sushil Koirala, once announced that the new constitution will be promulgated by August 15, 2015. The people of Nepal have been deceived by the leaders many times before, so there is still doubt that the announcement made by the PM will come true.

DWIT NEWS conducted a small survey to find out whether or not the DWIT family believes that we will get a new constitution by mid-August as announced by the PM. The pie chart below shows the result.

56 % of DWIT family believes that we will get a new constitution by mid August. Those who voted 'Yes'  said that the momentum is good, the draft is ready, people's opinion are collected and the constituent assembly is working hard so that we will get a new constitution in time.

22 % of DWIT family does not believe that we will get a new constitution on time. There are many issues to be settled was the answer to why they believe it will not be ready in time. The remaining 22% of the DWIT family wants to wait and watch for little bit before giving their final thought.
