Slightly densely populated but peaceful and quite away from the hustle and bustle of crowded streets, Dhapasi is a residentially preferred village in the northern outskirts of Kathmandu District. Dhapasi has become a center of perfect residence due to good availability of hospitals and healthcare centers, educational institutions and moreover, due to peaceful and clean environment. Hospital and Health-care Facilities Though limited in number, the hospitals in Dhapasi are considered among the bests. 1. Grande International Hospital: Grande International Hospital offers a wide range of therapeutic, surgical and diagnostic services. The hospital incorporates Wellness Center and City Clinic for enhancing public health and patient services respectively. Grande International Hospital is technologically and technically equipped and hence has become one of the commendable hospitals in the entire country. 2. Green city Hospital (P): Green City Hospital (GCH) is a well-equipped multi-specialty hospital located in Basundhara, Dhapasi which provides the best care to every patient through integrated clinical service and education. 3. B P Smriti Hospital (P): It is a private hospital located in Basundhara, Dhapasi which provides clinical and emergency service 24/7. Grande Towers Grande Towers is a 23-storied multi-towered complex which offers high-rise and high-end apartments in a congenial environment. Educational Institutions Dhapasi has reputed public as well as private school in Kathmandu. Schools like Tilingatar Higher Secondary School (Public) and Triyog High School (Private) are two of the best schools in Kathmandu. Some of the colleges in Dhapasi are Active Academy and Silkroad International College. The Nature Club The Nature Club is one of the best recreational and fitness centers in Dhapasi. Nature Club is famous in Kathmandu for pool parties. Swimming pool, banquet hall, restaurant and bar, gym hall and so forth are the facilities available in The Nature Club. Krishna Mandir Krishna Mandir is located at the heart of Dhapasi (in Dhapasi Height). Dhapasi Krishna Mandir is famous all around the neighboring VDCs like Tokha, Maharajgunj and Samakhushi. This temple has religious significance. During festivals like Krishna Janmastami, special programs are organized in the temple. Deurali Janta Pharmaceutical Private Limited (DJPL) DJPL, one of the leading pharmaceutical companies of Nepal, was the first Nepalese pharmaceutical companies awarded with World Health Organization - Good Manufacturing Practice (WHO-GMP) certificate. This company produces and sells pharmaceutical formulations in Nepal. It aims at initiating international exports. Getting There: You can get to Dhapasi by taxi or by bus from Ring Road.
