Apple seems to be following its recent trend of remaining tight-lipped about their new products ahead of the scheduled launch of the much anticipated iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus. The event is taking place at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco on Wednesday, September 7, at 10am local time, (6pm BST). Apple has sent out various invitations for the event like always but this time, they have not given away much information on what the event is about which was the norm in previous years.

This secrecy from Apple has forced social media to take on the role of Sherlock Holmes desperately searching for clues. However, apple has apparently given out information about the new series to major media outlets and executives. The iPhone 7 series is not expected to feature a huge technological upgrade from the iPhone 6 series. The chipsets and battery will likely be improved and the camera sensors will definitely get an upgrade as dual lens cameras have been confirmed on the iPhone 7. One of the most intriguing mysteries that apple has provided to the public is a blurred image which has a number of translucent colored dots outlining the top portion of Apple's logo, which might, in fact, be a clue for colored handsets that has been rumored for the past month.

It is highly unlikely that 2016 will be Apple’s year, but there should still be enough tech advancements to satisfy the millions eagerly waiting to get their hands on the iPhone 7.
