On Jan 3, DWIT Hiking club organized hiking event from Taudaha to Champadevi. Along with 11 hikers we started our journey from Purano Buspark where all the hikers gathered together. We had breakfast there and took public bus to Taudaha. This was the very first time transportation service was not be provided by Deerwalk Transportations due to fuel crisis. After reaching Taudaha we started our journey from there. Everyone was really excited about the hike. With all the excitement, we started hiking and finally reached Champadevi. As this was first hike for students of batch 2019, we were enjoying and having fun with our seniors walking up the hill.

At the beginning of our hike we were walking and enjoying ourselves. But later on as the straight staircases started, it became a tiring journey for us. All of us were exhausted, so we started walking slowly taking short breaks in every 15 minutes. As we strolled up the hill the environment became pure, cool and pollution free. Our bodies were electrified with the cold wind and our senses finally felt the consciousness of being alive. Then we reached Champadevi where we relished nature's beauty and clicked lots of pictures in order to capture our memories forever.

Since we were exhausted we took snacks break and ate delicious dry snacks together. We again started our journey towards Satungal after the break. On the way towards our final destination we came across slippery hills. However our excitement made this difficult path a fun experience. Finally, we reached Satungal where we took public bus to Thamel and then we finally ate delicious traditional Nepali food. Overall the hike was a memorable one.
