Five Students Selected As Intern Admission Officers

Picture By: DWIT News As the result of grade 12 is approaching the beginning of new academic session is on the verge too. Colleges are advertising to get more students. Everyday there are some advertisements in the newspapers, radio and T.V. DWIT, one of the leading IT Colleges in Nepal has a different approach towards this whole thing; it doesn’t do any kind of advertisements in the media. It simply invites the interested ones in the Open House Session in which the students studying in different batches share their experience with the audience. Also, the audience can ask any sort of questions to the speakers to know more about the college and its activities. As the admission period is approaching near, DWIT has taken student from different batch to work as intern admission officer to help them in the admission process. 5 students have been selected as intern for this task. The interns have to work from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm every day. They can work for a maximum of 20 hours per week and they will be paid Rs. 60 per hour. DWIT has started distributing the entrance forms from last week and the aptitude test is going to be held on 19th August from 4 pm to 6 pm. From 19th onwards there will be tests every week at the same time. Student can choose the date as per their convenience. The main job of the selected interns is to distribute the entrance forms, provide information to the visitors about the form and about the DWIT aptitude test. They will also have to help during the aptitude tests too. The student who are selected to work as intern admission officer are Sabin Pathak and Bishal Timalsina from Batch 2018, Barsha Dahal and Ankit Pradhan from Batch 2017 and Kundan Shumsher Ranan from Batch 2016. This is a short term internship which will last for 6 to 8 weeks. .
