First Experience of Being a Deerwalker

As a freshman, when I first joined DWIT, I didn’t know anyone. None of my current classmates were known to me. As I walked from my home to the college, several thoughts were racing through my mind about how the college and my friends would be, and whether I would be able to adapt easily or not. These thoughts came to a halt after I met everyone and immediately made a bunch of friends. All of us had a great bond from day one. Day by day, this bond became stronger and we got to know a lot about one another. Apart from this, our class is pleasant and very friendly, which really helped me get acquainted with everyone else easily.
The college has a remarkable environment as it focuses on overall development of a student rather than just academics. We get chance to get involved in various extra-curricular activities through different clubs such as; Hiking, sports, Deertalk and many more. I have chosen to join DWIT news club where I need to write articles every week about the topic that is assigned to me.
The staff and faculty are also extremely helpful. Teachers give ample time to the students in class for quality education and this interaction will definitely enhance the relationship between teachers and students to a greater extent. On the other hand, the college also has a wonderful canteen which provides mouthwatering and hygienic food to the entire Deerwalk family.
Before joining bachelors here in DWIT, when I was looking for colleges, I heard that DWIT was a well reputed college for studying BSc.CSIT. Finally, now I can feel and experience whatever I had heard from outsiders is all true. Within the few weeks that I have been here, I have enjoyed the learning environment and the companionship given by my friends. I expect this trend to continue and look forward to achieve my dreams come true one day and feel proud to be a Deerwalker.
