Nowadays, whenever I go to the administration room, I feel a positive vibe missing there. Someone can make a place fresh and energetic, while the absence of that person will surely make it dull. That place is still empty. It has been more than a week, but nobody is there till now. I miss him, I miss the friendliness in his profession, I miss Susmit Dai. He always brought up the smiles on our faces. Susmit dai, our mentor, our best friend is no more in DWIT , and trust me, the realization that he once was here with us all, feels like hell. It feels like the most beautiful flower has been plucked from the garden and the absence of that one flower makes the whole garden dull. That day, was the last session of the 2nd season of Deer Talk program. Many students were not aware of what DWIT was going to lose that day. That was when Susmit dai entered the room and told us that he was going to leave Deerwalk, he was going to leave us. He said, ”Enjoy this part of your life because Bachelors life is the best one. All of it will be there in your head, till the end.” Most of us couldn’t control our emotions. I, for one, was hiding my tears from the crowd. When he apologized to those students, with whom he had had a rough time during his tenure, I was thinking how could a person be so honest and so humble? Whenever I see the empty chair on his place, it seems like even his chair misses him. The happiness that used to grow inside of me whenever I entered that room to meet him has gone missing. I feel like crying out loud because he was the one with whom I, along with my friends shared most of the things and we laughed together. Nowadays, I can only hear the pain of silence in there. I hear the whispers of tragedy. I hear the dull sentiments of his chair. This is the system of life, We have to be far from the one whom we love, care and respect. But the happiness that we shared together will forever cheer us. This is the exact sentence he told us on his day of leaving. This positive attitude and his words of eternal significance will surely inspire us to do better in our life. He has already left us, but the feeling of his presence is still felt by our soul. It will be very hard for us to accept a new person in his position. But we are curious to see that new face and meet that new person who may understand us as Susmit dai used to. We are waiting eagerly for that person. We don’t want to see his chair empty anymore. We want a new person like our susmit dai who will bring the lost charm to that place again.
