Hitesh Karki, Director of Academics Affairs of DWIT, was invited for an interview by Youth TV. In the interview, he talked about entrepreneurship, its challenges and obstacles. The interview was conducted by host Sarala Karki. In the 25 minutes long interview, Karki talked about his journey to being an entrepreneur, the challenges and obstacles one has to face when he/she starts a new business and the ways to overcome them. Speaking about his experience, he said he always loved taking challenges and liked to see what is impossible in a different way. He also talked about some differentiating factors of DWIT and spoke of how DWIT is able to synchronize between the entrepreneurs in USA and Nepal. He was also questioned about his recent article “Time for change” where he writes, “Youths have the ability and capacity for the transformation of the change.” He said that youths are full of ideas and are capable of making a change. He added that they think out of the box and can make the change if given the opportunity and responsibility. Indicating the fact that there are several challenges and obstacles that youngsters have to face when they start a business, he encouraged everyone to do things on their own and not give up in the face of failure. At the end of the interview, he expressed his joy in getting a chance to share his experience. The host also conveyed her best wishes to DWIT College.
