How did you come to join DWIT?     I think it’s all about destiny. I truly believe destiny brought me here. Before I came here, I tried for jobs in various banks and insurance companies but somehow it didn’t work out. I was supposed to belong to DWIT.

What are your duties in the library?

To issue and receive books, enter and update records on computer, order new materials (book, stationery) .I also assist the administrative department.

How are the students working in the library?

Aasha, Mohan and Prabina all come at their respective times and do their work efficiently.

Do you like the college library management?

Honestly saying, it was quite unmanaged when I joined, but it is pretty well organized now. So, yes I like it.

What is your favorite color?

Black! It gives protection from external and emotional stress. It keeps things bottled up inside, hidden from the world. It creates mystery.  I also like all shades of purple. It gives peace of mind and it is good for meditation. (smiles)

Your most watched movie is?

There are many but to mention a few- hmm..DDLJ, Titanic, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, 2 States, Zingadi Na Milegi Dubaram, Harry Potter, Home Alone and the list goes on.. (laughs)

What do you fear the most?

There are no real phobias to tell about. But I do have my inner fear about achieving my ambition in life. I want to reach out and grab life and feel it and love it.

What is your take on religion?

I was religious from childhood and have always been interested in religions and it’s values. I believe in God and I know he is inside us, guiding us for our better future.

Do you believe in true love? Why? Why not?

Of course I believe in true love. It is the purest and the most beautiful thing our world possesses. When you see that one person that makes your day every time you see them, that one person that gives you peace and butterflies, that one person who just loves you for who you are and accepts you and your flaws..that’s true love.

What one word describes you the best?

I am quite ambitious, confident in myself, diligent, easy going person. Sorry, that’s more than one word but it’s only one sentence. (laughs)

Your philosophy in life?

My philosophy in life is to live well in this 24 hours so that the next 24 hours isn’t miserable. I live for that. ..From the movie, Kal Ho Na Ho, there is this dialogue of Shakrukh Khan, “Aaj, Aaj ek hasi aur baant lo..aaj ek dua aur maang le..aaj ek aasoon aur pee lo..aaj ek zindagi aru jee lo..aaj ek sapna aur dekh le..aja ..kya pata, kal ho na ho...
