Club day is the most awaited day for all  DWIT members where the different clubs get new leaders and members. On this day, students can choose which club they want to be involved according to their interest. This year the Club day was held on December 8th. This year, there are a total of nine different clubs. On December 1st, the capable leaders (president and vice-president) for DWIT clubs were appointed. They were then given the opportunity to choose members for their club on the basis of the requirement of the club and enthusiasm of the interested candidates. Since the college administration limited the total number of members to just five, the selection process was very competitive. As in previous years, following the appointment of the new Presidents and Vice Presidents, the membership was opened for each club. After a week of the announcement, on December 8, the classes were called off the second half. All the nine club president and vice-president held the interview at different locations on the college premises. The interview took place in multiple stalls settled at the Deerwalk Complex Courtyard from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The environment at Deerwalk complex was full of new hopes and excitement on this day. Each and every member of DWIT appeared to be too excited for this event. Applicants were seen both nervous and keen to sit for the interview on various stalls. Later, all the club leaders gathered at Sagarmatha Hall were they finalized the members of their club. The Club Day 2018 was the perfect amalgamation of joy, hope, enthusiasm, and anxiety. The professionalism showed by each Club Presidents while taking the interview and the way students expressed their interest in various clubs was a thing to be appreciated. The official announcement of the club members is scheduled to be held on December 29.
