The second session of the event Blind Date with a Book successfully saw its completion from more than one and a half dozen students. On Monday, all of the participants gathered in the allocated room and the event started promptly. All the participants already had about two weeks’ time to read the book they had received on the first session of this event. Some of them actually finished the books they had received while some of them had not. However, it was clear that all of them had put an effort to read the books. Even though many had not finished reading, it did nothing to stop the flow of the conversation. All of the participants sat down with their partners in groups and began a group discussion. This session lasted for about an hour. Though initially, the plan was for coffee, this time around all of us enjoyed some cold drinks instead. It was a completely laid-back event, which saw participants from students of almost all the batches. It proved to be a unique experience to have a conversation and mix in with new people. In addition, of course, to get a new taste in books. Edited By - Sushil Awale
