"What do you mean by I don't have to lie to you?” Basanta lashed out breaking their hug. “You think that I came up with some story to justify what I did?” Basanta said. Subarna looked deep into his eyes and said, “I am not saying that you came up with the story to justify your actions. I believe in everything you said expect you enjoying killing those people”.

Subarna held Basanta's hand and looked into his eyes and said, “I know you hate yourself for what you have done. That's why you don't let people come near you. You don't think you deserve to be loved by someone. You go to that orphanage because you think that you are responsible. When someone tries to pick up a fight with you, you try to get away from them. They say that you are a coward and that you are afraid. But I know you are afraid not of them hurting you but the other way around. I have never seen such an incredible person in my life and I am not going to let you convince me to believe that you are a heartless monster.”  Subarna held Basanta's hand even tighter and said that she loved him and nothing in the world would ever stop her from loving him. Basanta was amazed that Subarna could see through his lies. Basanta said he needed a favor. When Subarna asked what it was, Basanta asked Subarna to promise him that she would never tell her cousin anything about her father's death. “I don't want her to remember her father as a person responsible for destroying lives of many people”, said Basanta. Subarna could not stop her tears. She could not help but wonder how big that boy's heart was and how lucky she was to fall in love with such a guy.
