Today is a big day for us. We finally got confirmation from this alien planet called Earth that we Zodians (People from planet Zodia) can land our ship on their planet and communicate with them. It is giving me shivers. I don’t know how the people of earth will react when they see us. I hope they will be nice to us and we can share our knowledge with each other and live in harmony in this cosmos.

It all began a couple of years back when we got a strange signal from space. We started our research to find its source. It took us a while, but we were able to track down its source and according to our research the message came from a planet in the neighbouring solar system. We were pretty much convinced that the message was sent by aliens. We needed to confirm our assumption, so we developed a spaceship that would take us to that solar system from where the message had originated.

When we reached that solar system, we did some research and found out that only one planet had signs of life. Using their satellites we were able to learn about them and their language. The planet was called Earth. Using what they called the World Wide Web (WWW) we learned their common language- English. We also learned about their culture.

Using what we learned we communicated with them. At the beginning they were terrified of us assuming we were hostile and would take over their planet, but we were able to convince them that we would not hurt them intentionally in any way. After we convinced them, they said that they were very happy to meet with us. We were also really happy to hear that and asked them to make necessary preparations for the safe landing of our spaceship. Now we have confirmation that we can advance towards their planet. We are all very excited about going to this planet where we found the answer to the question “Are we alone in the universe ?” thanks to their effort.
