Usually, Bagbazar branch of Agriculture Development Bank Ltd. (ADBL) is a very busy branch office of ADBL. However, it was unusually quiet on 23rd and 24th July (last Thursday and Friday). A notice was pasted on wall which we can see in picture above.

The notice mentions that due to the road expansion, which is in progress in the area, the wire poles needed to be shifted due to which wires of Internet along with other electronics has been cut off. Hence, the bank cannot connect with its head office and other branch offices, and as a result, it is in no condition to provide any service to the people.

Not only this branch of Agriculture Development Bank Ltd., but also others organizations are facing similar problems due to the cutting of wires to shift the poles during road expansion. This problem could have been easily avoided if the wires were managed properly at the first place. Two pictures below show how unmanaged the wires are in the area.

This type of unmanaged and careless wiring can be the cause of major accidents in the city. The responsible authority and local people should try to manage the wiring system so that the accidents can be avoided.

Furthermore, road expansion should be conducted in a systematic manner so that nobody faces problems faced by ADBL and its customers.
