Counting Days

Six days,

And I’ve been thinking of you

– So vivid

– So poignant,

Like never before.

I rambled through different places,

Visited many of my friends,

Even did weed and alcohol

But nowhere lies the peace,

And you’re distracting me,

Over again and again.

It’s really hard to act crazy,

When you’re sick inside.

But once the philosophers had said,

“A fading candle burns the brightest”

Is it true???
