Paranoia

By Arjun Dahal

Her words, Have left the scars And have deranged the veins, Inducing the paranoia And leaving me transfused Into her ever gauging eyes. I've gone slow in the past Sinking down bitterly stiffened.   But, Once divided, Nothing can be added. Am I destined to live, With this auction of my mind? So covenanted to the sojourner, Lying to myself Where every lies touches the bruises, Nonchalantly...... And grave by grave I civilize my heart, To hold the punishing time, Hovering in my calendar.
