Being Different

By Aasha Poudel

Picture Courtesy: DWIT News I will cry out louder, louder and louder Harder, harder and harder Until it reaches your ear Until it reaches your heart Is it really my fault, To be this weird, To be different than others? Why has everybody turned bad? Just a single word from you Makes it painful Hard to breath And hard to live. Don’t look at me With those weird eyes; I am also a human being Just like you and everyone else. Why can’t you accept me? Why can’t you love me? Why can’t you treat me well? Is it really my fault, For being different, For being unusual? I don’t want to fight you I just want you to accept me, Or is it really difficult for you To accept me, For who I am And for who I will be?
